Yili launches AMBROSIAL ambient ‘Greek-Style’ drinking yoghurt
Yili, Asia’s No.1 dairy company, has recently announced its expansion into the ASEAN market with the official launch of AMBROSIAL, a new rich and creamy Greek-style drinking yoghurt.
Made from fresh milk sourced from well-chosen pastures, and produced with the signature yoghurt culture developed by the Agricultural University of Athens in Greece, AMBROSIAL brings consumers a special Greek-style tasting experience. AMBROSIAL makes for the perfect on-the-go indulgence, and is perfect for snacking given its ambient nature.
“AMBROSIAL’s entry into the Southeast Asian market marks a new chapter for Yili Group to reach larger groups of consumers around the world,” said Mrs. An Lei, Vice President of Mongolia Yili Industrial Group Co., Ltd. “It is part of Yili’s aim to promote a healthy lifestyle and sustainable development in Southeast Asia.”
To celebrate this significant milestone, the world-famous Formula One Team Alfa Romeo Racing, together with one of the drivers, Kimi Räikkönen, were invited to officiate the launch event. “AMBROSIAL yoghurt aims to bring a new drinking experience to our consumers in Southeast Asia – it is so rich and creamy, and our ground-breaking special package design allows consumers to savour the joyful moments with the utmost convenience,” said Yvette Zhang, Marketing Director of AMBROSIAL.
AMBROSIAL is available in 3 packaging variants i.e. in Tetra-Pak, Tetra-Top, and PET Bottle, with 5 flavour variations namely Original, Blueberry, Strawberry, Yellow Peach & Oats, Mango & Passion Fruit.
As an ambient drinking yoghurt with no preservatives added, AMBROSIAL does not need to be chilled due to the advanced Tetra-Pak packaging and innovative manufacturing processes. This allows the delicious flavours, nutrients and freshness of the yoghurt to be retained for optimal indulgence anywhere, anytime. This certainly works well in developing parts of ASEAN where cold-chain distribution is still in its infancy or development stage.
In Singapore, AMBROSIAL is available at FairPrice, Cheers, Sheng Siong, 7-Eleven, Yue Hwa, Prime, Haomart, and Qoo10, to name a few, and it will soon be available on RedMart, the online shopping website.
In Myanmar, AMBROSIAL will soon be available at Denko, am pm convenience stores, Amazing Mart, 1 Stop Mart, Oasis Mini Mart, Orange, and Capital.
Yili is Asia’s No.1 dairy company and it also ranks as No.1 with a brand value of US$7.7 billion among the Top 500 most valuable brands in the food sector.
