Brahimís introduces MRE Rice together with its Recipe Book in Brunei

Popular Malaysian Halal Ethnic Packaged Food under the brand of Brahimís has expanded its product range in Brunei with the official launch of its Meals-Ready-to-Eat (MRE) Rice and its recipe book.
Brahimís, the umbrella brand of Dewina Holdings Sdn Bhd, has launched MRE rice products that include Nasi Briyani Ayam (Chicken Briyani), Nasi Briyani Kambing (Mutton Briyani), Nasi Goreng Kampung (Kampung Fried Rice), Nasi Goreng Ikan Masin (Salted Fish Fried Rice) and Nasi Arab Kambing (Lamb Rice) which fit to the taste buds of the locals, particularly the Malays.
To complement the new product offerings is a unique 162-page recipe book, which includes the story of Brahimí journey in the food business, as well as 42 recipes accompanied with solutions for those who have time constraints.
Nur Fatin binti Datoí Seri Ibrahim, Group Managing Director of Dewina Holdings Sdn Bhd said, "There has been an overwhelming response to Brahimís MRE rice range since they were first introduced to the Malaysian market in 2010. We hope our easy convenient MRE rice offerings will also appeal and be well accepted by our Bruneian consumers."
Brahimís ready-to-eat (RTE) Nasi Briyani Ayam was given the Gold Award for Innovation by the Malaysian Institute of Food Technology in 2011," she said. ďIt was the first time that anyone ever produced RTE Nasi Briyani Ayam in a packet that you can take anywhere without being spoilt and can last for 18 months.Ē
Brahimís Nasi Goreng Kampung, on the other hand, requires very little preparation work. "You can either heat it in a microwave oven for about 2 minutes or place it in boiling hot water for 7 minutes, and it can be eaten anywhere, at any time." It has good nutritional value and no added MSG, preservatives or artificial colourings. It is also suitable for travellers and time-constraint individuals, and is extremely convenient for camping trips/expeditions and outdoor activities.
Due to Brunei similarity to the Malaysian market, Brahimís is optimistic of its future there. ďWe are here to continue to help improve the hectic lifestyles of our loyal consumers and to be committed and driven by passion in everything that we do," Nur Fatin added. Brahimís rice will be available in most premium and neighbourhood outlets in Brunei, while Brahimí recipe book will be available at Best Eastern Bookstore.
Brunei is an important market to Malaysian food brand Brahimís, because of its stringent Halal standards and similar taste in food, the long history and relationship between the 2 as well as the brandís acceptance in the market.
Datoí Seri Ibrahim bin Haji Ahmad Badawi, the Executive Chairman and Founder of Dewina Holdings Sdn Bhd (Brahimís) said that Brahimís has been recognised for 3 decades as the leader of Halal manufacturing in Southeast Asia. To date, the company has 42 products ranging from sauces to ready-to-eat meals under Brahimí brand.
